  • Mrs Bowen selected some children to take part in the Chance2Dance event at Kimberley school on 15th March. The children have been practising hard for this and Mrs Bowen said she was proud of the team; they behaved impeccably and had an amazing performance!

Thank you to everyone who donated sheets for costumes and thank you to Mrs Bowen for all your hard work with the children!

  • On Monday 7th March, Year 5 went on an exciting trip to the National Space Centre. Mr Barber said that the children were a credit to the school and the children got to learn what it takes to be an astronaut.

We’ve also seen some amazing space-related work in Year 5 (including dioramas of the solar system) and we can’t wait to see the end results!

  • On Friday 25th February, Year 3 was out of school on their trip to the Botanical gardens at the University of Leicester. They had lots of fun doing a range of activities and we even had some fantastic comments from the children such as:

“My favourite part was seeing all of the plants. I had an amazing blast and I think I want to go there every day!”

“I thought it was great and my favourite part was building the tree out of sticks!”

Mrs Hunt and Mrs Lawrence also noted that the children were very well-behaved so well done Year 3!
